Our Marines are the best lethal fighting force in the world. They generally have not been trained in non-lethal weapons or crowd control. Sending them into a domestic situation against civilians is dangerous and threatens the very apolitical nature of our Armed Forces.
I can’t believe this has to be said, but Donald Trump & his Administration threatening to arrest a sitting governor over a policy disagreement is a complete abdication of the oath to support and defend the Constitution. I would say they should be ashamed, but it appears they are incapable of shame.
