I want to report some good news from LA: ICE picked a hotel in Pasadena to be their headquarters for this side of the city. The residents of Pasadena (myself included) would not stand for this and protested all yesterday in front of the hotel until, eventually, the hotel kicked out ICE!!

My husband has coached hs baseball for the last 20 years. This is his last year of coaching. They made it to CIF Finals this weekend! Problem is, I’ve been training for a marathon these past 20 weeks— for a marathon that’s this weekend. We both have to miss out on each others big weekends now 🥺
I’m gonna say it, I’m a Midwest girl, and I love my home state of Michigan, but wow do I love California. Driving up the coast with mountains on one side and waves and beach on the other 😍
Honestly, i live for a solid negative split! Never did I ever think I’d be cruising at an 8:15 pace at the end of a 10 mile run. #trustinthetraining

I’m def following a training plan and doing everything i can to rest and recover on my recovery days! I blame the man in the office for this though 😂. I signed up for this marathon the day after the election to prove to myself that women CAN do hard things.
Well if gymnastics didn’t already do it to me….
If i could talk to my 23 yo self and tell her that. I wish i never had before this stupid SAVE Act… but now i wish even more so.

Welp considering the gymnasts made it to Nationals and have THE WORST FACILITY in the competitive NCAA…. It’s about damn time!!!! How we even get recruits says a lot about Mike, Devin and Nicole, cuz it sure as hell ain’t Jenison.
