Unfortunately, not on Friday. Completely forgot that critical mass is always on a Fridays. It would have been fun to meet you in real life. Have fun in Hamburg. It's a very strange city, somewhere between old and new, stuffy and innovative.

For 30y, I've transported everything on my "regular" bike. When necessary, I've used a trailer: for IKEA, recycling, or to transport my 👨🌾 market counter. That works. But my new, short, compact cargo bike simply does the jobs better. Nearly all of them. I also don't do laundry by hand anymore.

Homes with 3-4 cars parked outside them when there is only room for 1-2 cars is not a sign that we need to provide more room for parking; it’s a sign that the adult children can’t afford to move out despite being able to afford cars. That’s the real issue; housing supply and affordability.
