A detail I love about that tune is how when he says the good things line, he speaks it again in a quieter voice with more reverb in the opposite speaker, and does that throughout the entire section.

That is a great interview-- you can tell how much they genuinely like each other here. They were on the rehearsals for the first few weeks of the 88 band but they decided playing with Zappa would tank their careers as children's music composers.

I have the best HST story. My uncle lived in Boulder in the early 70s when HST was running for sheriff. He was in a bar where the bar was a big circular white piano and HST came in. He tried to tell him he had his vote but threw up on him instead. I miss my uncle.
