It’s always really disturbing when you go back and see the original figure. Like seeing your dad when he shaves his beard off.
Also, there are loads of Luke audiobooks in the Star Wars Legends. I've no idea what the future plans for the Audible Originals hold, but it's a pretty new range so Luke may be coming. I don't know.

Well, I certainly hope you enjoy it. Audible have a different release strategy that many other publishers. When George Mann and I adapted HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES the news dropped on the same day as the release.

27. Tempest Breaker by Cavan Scott These Star Wars audiobooks with a full cast are insanely good. It's like having a 6 hour movie playing in your head. Lourna Dee is such an interesting character, I really enjoyed this one. 4/5 ⭐

Just read the newsletter and I am HYPED ‼️ The Clone Wars raised me as a Star Wars girl but The Force Awakens was the first movie I saw in the cinema and it made me fall in love with them. I can not wait to listen to this.

Well, we return to Jakku mainly because it’s part of the Force Awakens’ 10th Anniversary. I certainly tried to bring something new to the story — and also to tie it into the other two films in the trilogy.
Don’t worry. I definitely don’t have any reservations writing Rey. I adore writing her.

They were commissioned following the success of the print books. I'm not aware of any plans to re-release them as physical copies, I'm afraid.

I don’t no. If I’m writing something for myself these days, it’s my own material.
Growing up, it was John Byrne because I was such a fan of both his FF and Superman run. And Simon Furman's run on Transformers UK made me want to write comics. John Wagner and Alan Grant are also in there. These days, Tom Taylor and Steve Orlando are people who inspire me to be better.
1. The noble bourbon. Some might think them boring, but they make me happy. As do custard creams. I'm a simple man of simple tastes. 2. I love the lime crisps (chips) you can get there. Don't think we can get them here. Also: Milk Duds. 3. The pyramids.

Nope. He's always sounded like Jaxxon. That's not just me being facetious, either. When I was a kid I always heard him in a certain way when I read the original comics, and that voice has just stuck! Definitely a little New Yoik, for sure!

This was a thoroughly excellent evening, spent in good company (@cavan.bsky.social), and watching a brace of ripping yarns. I missed SOLOMON KANE (2009) in the cinema to my regret, but got it on DVD and loved it. Finally seeing it on a (very) big screen was something else.

RED SONJA was a fun watch. Director MJ Bassett wears her love for 80 heroic fantasy movies and Harry Harryhausen on her sleeve, the latter never more evident than in the Cyclops sequence.
Great time meeting the charming and talented Mr James Purefoy last night at the SOLOMON KANE / RED SONJA double bill put on by @fwfilmfestival.bsky.social KANE is one of my favourite films so seeing it in its dark, rainswept glory on the huge Bristol Megascreen was a joy.
