Jack Grealish has provided 4 assists in the Premier League for Everton. Since the start of last season, only Dwight McNeil has provided more assists for the Blues (6), despite Grealish only joining them this season and playing just 3 games. #EFC

Alot of the time we have ppl saying we need to recruit like Brighton, but ppl forget some of their buys are afforded 12/18 months to develop before they stand out. If we want to recruit like Brighton, then we need to also have the patience of their fans.

My big hope is fans don’t disassociate diblings age with his fee. I fear that people will expect him to be top level already because of what we spent rather than support him and help him develop. At least with Grealish ndiaye and KDH not essential he starts quickly as opposed to joining last summer

Best part of the signings of Aznou, Rohl and Dibling is theirs absolutely no pressure on them to perform instantly. All three can be afforded time and be allowed to develop. Same really for Barry but think he's been used by Moyes admission sooner than anticipated. Now need patience to develop.

If we add Merlin Rohl, The Friedkin Group, our new owners would have spent 149m bringing in 9 new players in their first summer window. Regardless of what else happens Moyes will have this squad as a competitive, top half side bloodying noses. Rome wasn't built in a day but they've given it a go!

Simple answer is thats exactly the scenario we want. Top half of the table sides have 2 top players in every position, we seem to have forgotten that after the last few years. Whoever's in form or tearing up trees in training gets the shirt.
Said this a few times, but Moyes still wants to add more quality in the centre, often can be where games are won or lost. He's more than confident with O'Brien right back for this season if needed, all depends on value add and quality available. We'll be top half Toffees.
