I suspect it's more about massive brown envelopes from fossil-fuel companies, which funds Reform. After all, where is the BBC's concern about reflecting Green Party voters.

Starmer, supported by Lib Dem, Green, and other non-right-wing parties/independents, needs to set up an inquiry into impartiality at the BBC. It is so clearly promoting Re-form PLC that BBC officials are in breach of the contract with the licence-fee paying public.

The UK, during WW2, secretly hid all the nation's valuable documents and treasures in a disused Welsh mine to save them from the fascists. Could the Smithsonian find a disused mine in the US?

Does Trump not understand that Nobel Committee representatives are Scandinavian? Allowing Putin to seize whatever nearby territory he wants, as Trump has done by withdrawing US support to Ukraine and humiliating Zelensky, means the President has said goodbye to any Nobel prize.

BBC is complicit, constantly promoting Re-form PLC. In my opinion, Tim Davie is in breach of contract for failing to ensure impartiality.Re-form is not only racist but in the pay of the fossil fuel companies. Need to press for an inquiry into ƁBC impartiality.

Huge thanks for this reference. I'm collecting evidence and then asking our (Lib Dem) MP to press for an independent inquiry re political bias in the BBC. Anyone represented by a Labour, Lib Dem, Green, or other non-Reform MP could usefully do likewise.
Cejay Leslie (@cejayleslie2.bsky.social) reply parent
I really object to my money, via the licence fee, being used to promote Reform. We need an independent inquiry into political impartiality in the BBC. If bias is found, the DG and various political editors/commentators (?Kunsberg)should be sacked without compensation for breach of contract.

The present Govt needs to bring in a law, similar to perjury, that makes knowingly lying when in public office in an official capacity an offence. The penalty, prison - not a fine that wouldn't touch millionaires like Farage. Such a law would see the demise of Reform.

In the UK, Re-form PLC - a remodel of the 14-year Tory austerity-chaos - is now the political wing of fossil fuel companies, and the gullible continue to vote for them.

A bot so of course it has no issues.

Reform is polling so high because the BBC (plus all other right-wing media, which is most of it) has been promoting it. If the Lib Dems or Greens had the BBC as their cheer leader, they too would be polling higher.
Cejay Leslie (@cejayleslie2.bsky.social) reply parent
I really resent that my TV licence money is being flagrantly used to support Reform - a PLC I suspect is intent on getting into power them asset stripping the company. Why isn't there an inquiry into the impartiality of the BBC.

Must go to see them. I haven't stopped off to have a look for a while.

I suggested this to my sons for my birthday. They are sending me down the Snowdonia zipline instead 😄.

Just watched the programme. Simply amazing, beyond words. Pride in the achievement is well deserved. The programme itself was brilliantly presented, and the computer graphics showed the complexities involved. Wonderful viewing.

Sadly the US is a country that will be desperately weakened on the world stage. Eg when Russia, only 55 miles away decides to grab Alaska - the US will be on its own. Trump/Vance/Putin will have dismantled NATO, and the Arctic Council.

What's the opposite of scurryfunging? I.e., frantically trying to find everything once the guests have left. Especially for those of us who forget to write down reminders.
Cejay Leslie (@cejayleslie2.bsky.social) reply parent
Living in a seaside town, family & friends often visit, so it's a much used word amongst our group of swimmers. One or other of us will have to miss a swim because we're frantically scurryfunging.
