What will we get? ZEZTZ will run for a year, have at least one movie, and then will see the same fate as every other Rider: His catchphrases, poses, and attacks will appear in future crossovers without the actor. Some 2030 Rider will transform into him. A good chunk of props will be repurposed.
There’s a quirk of the franchise that the leads can largely exist in a vacuum, bereft of an acknowledged family, absent of any romantic inclinations, or even a note of where the person lives. It’s not hardcore consistent, but… did FOURZE ever address family? All of DRIVE’s romance is off-screen.
What is a Kamen Rider? Instead of “spandex that functions like metal” that Super Sentai does, or skin like Ultraman, Kamen Riders are generally more of an “armor” OR a biological change. Shin? Biological. Drive? Tech. Wizard? Magic Mostly, it’s 20-something men, “big bros” to the viewer.

At the end of the day, let’s be realistic: KAMEN RIDER is a half-decade franchise that survives on kids buying toys. Sometimes, it’s just a half-hour of hope a week. Let me leave you with who the Kamen Riders are: people who save the day when needed, and can make you feel like a kid.

Will the current Super Sentai, GOZYUGER, show up? There’s always potential for a cameo in promotion of a movie, but no, they generally are separate continuities.
Most battles, usually in two-episode arcs featuring a singular monster or challenge for the hero to defeat, will end with the lead performing a signature finish: their take on the legendary Rider Kick, which can present itself in any number of ways. Here’s nearly two-dozen variants.
The belt will feature a boisterous voice, announcing changes to the Rider’s form, special attacks, and such… frequently in English. It’s such a modern icon of the franchise, even DC gave this to Batman.
A key feature ZEZTZ is subverting is moving the belt, the key source of their powers, to a cross-body style. While the lead Rider will have a preferred form with all-around capabilities, expect power-ups to be frequent and collectible, introducing new suits and attacks.
The Riders are called such because they commonly ride motorcycles. Japan has been restrictive of customized motorcycles on streets in recent years, so it may very well feature limited cycle action. They’ll work through it.
Riders are lone actors, possibly supported by an organization of some sorts. There’s not often a “team” aspect; it’s not SUPER SENTAI. Still, you’re going to eventually see a “Secondary Rider,” someone with thematically similar design and powers. Chances are they’ll start as a rival.
GENERALLY, most Kamen Riders largely exist in their own world; you don’t generally need to know that, for example, Shibuya was destroyed by a meteor in KABUTO, for example. Other Riders will invariably appear, thanks to movies choosing spectacle over continuity. Just enjoy the ride.

some encouraging news from tokushoutsu's twitter about the Kamen Rider Zetz simulcast, they say they plan to loop it 6 times each day an episode airs (Saturday, Sunday, Friday), prior episodes will play before new ones, there will be mini-marathons, etc this does cover one of my main concerns ✨
New season, so I can’t speak to the quality… and frequently, KR functions in two-episode arcs, so it might need two episodes to be “complete”… But the fandom’s happy to have you check in on it.
