I ran a half marathon and they had it playing on loop at the start. Like they tasked someone with no interest in music with making a motivational playlist for the runners as they started the race, and they just found one fucking song that sounded optimistic and set it to repeat. It was appalling.
In college I had a neighbor who would play this loudly, on repeat, for hours. Occasionally I’d go pound on their door and they would turn it down, but never off, and they never answered. It annoyed the hell out of me then but in hindsight I really wonder what was going on in that person’s life.

I had to wait over a year after I quit teaching to even try watching it. Very funny, but definitely unrealistic. The teachers have time to sit in the lounge and chat? And are generally happy? No physical aggression, like, ever? I get that it's a comedy but fights CAN be played for laughs ya know.
Is it a local thing to me that a lot of theaters now have really good food? Not like a fine dining meal, but an onsite kitchen serving finger foods like apps, pizza or sandwiches that are restaurant quality. A sceme to get people away from Netflix and back to the cinema, I think.
