The funny thing about this scene in Apocalypse Now is that after that helicopter squadron killed a bunch of innocent people while playing the Ride of the Valkyries, Col Kilgore covered the whole village with napalm. At no moment in the movie was he depicted other than a war criminal & psychopath.

Robert Duvall's character in Apocalypse Now - who Trump attempts to portray here - was an absolute maniac whose men feared he would get them killed and couldn't wait to get away from him. Seems apt - maybe not for the reason Trump believes.
