Everything you could ask for and more for a redshirt freshman making his season debut. Micah Alejado overcame an egregious error with the strip sack in the end zone on his first snap and then played most of the second half hobbled. That’s leading by example. That’s a QB guys can rally around.

What’s a concert w/o an audience? Whatever you call it, it isn’t a concert. What’s a football game w/o an audience? It’s still a football game. There’s a fair distinction to be made in viewing entertainment as a byproduct rather than the purpose, especially from the athlete’s perspective.
That’s the purpose of pro sports for spectators. The purpose for players is to win. Gabriel is saying at his core, he is a competitor. That’s why kids fall in love with the game, because they love to compete. He’s not in it to entertain, that’s not the most fulfilling aspect of the game for him.
