i use peppermint essential oil (aura cacia/pranarom (NO from wallmart) in cheep vodka 40 drops in a 4 ounce spray bottle (or 10 drops per ounce) shake *really well* before each application they come in on the kitchen sink, a few sprays and those that survive run for the hills. it lasts quite awhile
