I’m not saying UK trains are expensive… … but in Spain and I accidentally booked business class which comes with a full meal and several glasses of wine it was still cheaper than an Avanti off peak single standard fare.

Has anyone worked out why the new Rosewood in Mayfair (Grosvenor Square) is called the Rosewood Chancery Court, whereas Chancery Court was the old name for the Rosewood in Holborn? And Chancery Court is in Holborn, not Mayfair? Seems very bizarre choice to me.

Yes I’ve had a few comments to that effect. I think because it was also available by the glass it would have been easy enough to just not charge us for it and keep it in the fridge for someone else though.

There’s a restaurant chain in America called Flap Your Jacks and it *doesn’t* sell flapjacks. It’s very confusing.
