The words 'fluent', 'fluid', and 'influence' come from the Latin verb 'fluere', which means "to flow". 'Fluere' and 'to flow' look very similar, so they must be etymologically related, right? No! They're entirely unrelated. 'To flow' is related to 'pluere' (to rain) instead. Here's how we know:

Ubuntu 22.04 is a dream distro. The only hurdle I've had was getting Arduino IDE sorted with USB, but that's a common (ish) feature with well documented solutions. Also, Steam with Proton has made gamers of wizards.

If #IOT is your thing, you can't do much better that the Esp32 C6 EVB from #olimex. This took about 3 hours from unboxing to clicking relays. #RiscV because Acid Burn said so.

I have a secondary connection to The Fitz. I served at USCG Station Duluth in the 80s, and many of the senior enlisted I served under were first responders to the wreck. We talked about it with somber, reverent tones.

I was in Alaska later that year, working LORAN navigation in the USCG. I remember collecting signal data and message traffic from March '89 for the (far above my pay-grade) investigation. The signal was on-air and in-tolerance. The pulse was strong.
