A few years ago, my wife and I were weighing buying a car. I had heard a bit about electric cargo bikes, but didn't know much. After some research we took the plunge and bought a cargo bike instead of a car. It is so much more practical and affordable than owning a car. It isn't a status symbol.

Taking my kids to their swim lesson this afternoon. A bit too far to walk, and the bus is a bit slower than I’d like. The bike will get us there in 7 minutes and I don’t have to worry about looking for parking.
The only kind of crank that annoys me more than motorists complaining about cyclists are crank cyclists complaining about other people on bikes. Knock it off.
E-bikes have revolutionized city living for me. They're better than cars for most urban trips, and for many short to medium distance trips, better than the bus or the subway too. They open up new destinations I hadn't considered before. It rules!
