The bar loses money bc everyone else is so grossed out by all three of them that they leave early. Stede makes sure to tip well enough to make up the difference.

Absolutely. And maybe other ppl can be different, but I can't just choose something to be obsessed with like that. OFMD was totally unexpected and it chose me and I was powerless to resist π€£π€£ obv I'm still kinda here but those good ol' days? I could really use something like that again.
There've been plenty of shows/movies I've really enjoyed lately, I'm back to reading a book a day at times, I've got 'normal' distractions But a fun, unhinged hyperfixation? Nothing else has been able to grab me. (IW/TV came closest, but the show itself is too good & I'm not going near that fandom)
Man, I realllllly miss being in the thick of a true hyperfixation. OFMD hit at exactly the right time to help distract me through some personally traumatic stuff & *waves hand around at the world* it'd be so incredibly nice to have something (anything, I'm begging) to be that into again nowadays ππ
