TLDR - convenience and budget. There are more creative and collaborative ways you could have used. Aesthetically (I have only watched the trailer) I don’t think it works, it cheapens the message. Working with an illustrator / animator would have been worth the extra “cost” in so many ways.

Thanks for reporting on this important story. I feel like there is some vital context that you have left out here. 1 - using starvation as a weapon of war is unambiguously a war crime. 2 - Israel has been openly using starvation as a weapon of war since March. 3 - The Madleen is a uk flagged ship
