The Monkees- Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. 1967 1st press. This is a surprisingly good record. A really solid late 60’s psych/folk record. Check it out.
Pink Floyd-A Saucerful of Secrets 1968 Netherlands pressing with red Columbia label. I found this absolutely mint copy randomly on fb marketplace while traveling in upstate NY this week. Pretty rare pressing and it is in perfect condition. Lucky find. #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

I have always found it fascinating that Benson found pop success like this. An absolute virtuosic guitar player. Truly one the greatest to ever lay a hand on the instrument. Just mind blowing talent and technical chops.

It really has gone from bad to worse over the last 3 years. Its kind of sketchy and depressing now. I feel bad even saying that. Feels disrespectful to the merchants that are fighting to hang on. But it’s the reality.

SRC- Self Titled 1968. Found this in the wild over the weekend. 1st time I have seen it. Pretty cool psych album out of Detroit on Capitol. They made 3 albums and then disappeared. Really interesting stuff. The opening track Black Sheep is the star. Great cover art. #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

My first car gps device had the ability to chose a custom voice option. One of them was Ozzy. For a couple years whenever I arrived at a destination my gps would mumble stutter in a British accent “You have reach you fffffucking destination”. I loved that.
RIP #Ozzy. Released when I was 14, it blew my mind. I was obsessed with it. It practically never left my Sony Walkman for a year. This promo copy with CBS press pack was a lucky find and one of my prized records in my collection. It is blasting out of my speakers today #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

Gerry Mulligan Quartet 1952 10”. The first release by Pacific Jazz Records. Interesting stuff on here. A jazz quartet with no piano. Worth checking out for the young Chet Baker’s contribution. Can be found pretty cheap if you look. Sounds pretty good for 73yo record. #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

#nowspinning Miles Davis Kind of Blue. This 1959 mono 1st pressing came from a crate dig at a small shop in NH. It is one of my most priced records. My advice is to look through every pile you come across because you just never know. #vinylcommunity
Another great and often forgotten SF psych band. This is their 3rd album and this one and their 1st are both worth having and can be found cheap. I really like this album. This copy is a 1A/1A 1st press but its a mess and I really need an upgrade. #vinylcommunity #nowspinning
This is pretty interesting album to come of the San Fran music scene in the late 60’s. He’s mostly forgotten these days. You can pick up the record pretty cheap and they are worth checking out. This is an early 70’s repress that I need to upgrade but it sounds Ok. #vinylcommunity #nowspinning
The number of people from Phish Twitter that left over time and came here really snuck up on me. Now that I am here it is so great to see all the familiar faces. I am so glad to be here with everyone. I missed everyone. I deleted that other ap and I am never going back.
Now spinning Rory Gallagher Deuce. This is an excellent mostly forgotten record that you should check out if you can find one. Rory was an absolute god on the Strat.
