What better way to ensure military (Trump administration) rule than to start a war, and then get his troops deployed everywhere in America. Obviously to ensure everyone is safe, and to arrest any enemies. Enemies are defined by the Trump administration, so that will be the full fascist state๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
It's the hope that kills you. And plenty are hoping it works with Trump๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
This is about big business. This government's policy is all about making money for the rich, regardless of how it is done.๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
I have to agree with everyone, it is stupid to consider opening it. Did it state "do not bury beyond 34 years otherwise contents will go off". American pickers may wish to argue that ain't old๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
He has always been the best advert for health. Something like "think whether RFK jr would do it, then realise that it was drink and drugs that influenced him." Both RFK jr and Trump are not exactly shining examples of health. ๐

The overall plan by the Trump administration. Break everything and it will be impossible to put it back together quickly. A democratic government gets in, they can spread lies saying everything isn't working because of the democrats. To take over the America either start slowly or just cause chaos.๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
It would not surprise me to hear he is getting paid by the gun lobby to say it. Trump administration will say anything for money ๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
The interview with the child, about his friend (victor) covering him brings tears to my eyes when I hear it, each time. Partly that he has a friend that cared so much and that he recognised what his friend did, partly that the world has gone so crazy that a child needs to know and have to do that.
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
This is like FEMA. They are slowed down (re100k sign off) but now are firing competent officials. Once replacements are in, they will let them sign off higher. But, they will sign off bribes to friends, dodgy dealings etc to rip off money. CDC will be the same, dodgy medicine corrupt practices.๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
There are only 300,000 Chinese students before his threats to universities about foreign students. Then he reversed and raised it to 600k. I presume worried about loss of revenue and his usual Taco stance๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
He states he will deport hundreds of thousands, yet he stated in Sept 2024, less than a year ago, that it was impossible to deport hundreds of thousands. He costed the above at 10 billion but he also costed Brexit (he was one of the instigators) at 10 billion, which cost a lot more. Lies, more lies๐

Lol, I'd seen this on a different thread, it made my day๐

The business should be named and published. More to allow future customers to avoid them. Yes, some will flock to him, but maybe other despicable people might ask for a refund, putting more pressure on the odious business.๐ค

The war for the soul of America is ongoing and evil looks like winning. America for decades has ignored corruption. No party is exempt from that corruption, just look at some of the democrats. Look to yourselves to find the courage and your values, then fight to retain them before it is too late๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Yes I think corruption is rampant in US, not sure about evil (it is there, just not as rampant). My point is that they need to sort it, or face the consequences. No good ignoring it. When the Nazis came about, Germans ignore them, thinking it was nothing to do with them. So evil then got a foothold
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Also ask him why last year he said it was impossible to deport hundreds of thousands of immigrants and now says that it is his plan.๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
I just read a phrase "Those who don't work to shape the future themselves risk being shaped in turn by a future fashioned by their adversaries" Looks like the adversaries are busy shaping their vision of the future, and it isn't rosy. Too many people think it will all be better later, I am not sure๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
If I tried that with my regular breakfast of porridge, I fear that it might cause a more regular reaction. Maybe great for bowel health, but not sure I'd survive the aftermath ๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
The danger is, how do you know it is factual. You've seen the joy of the Trump administration and Musk getting their hands on data. Teaching an AI to only give out info that suits an administration? Perhaps manipulate results? Eg, most Americans believing Gulf of America is correct. Control is key๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
It isn't just your failing. I think you miss the point. Hoping someone else will fix the problem shouldn't be the answer. As an American, shouldn't the onus be on all other Americans to address the issue. For too long, ignoring a problem seemed to be the general answer on everything everywhere
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
America elected Trump. Once can be forgiven, but twice seems to be shame on you. Rather than hide in other countries you might want to resist. And this isn't Nazi Germany, though it could develop into that if everyone hides. The triumph of evil is when good "men" do nothing.๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
The problem is that the Trump administration has turned being American into a dirty word. Why would other countries welcome Americans whilst their own citizens are being mistreated and abused when trying to enter America. Equally, watching the horror of the Trump administration is enacting on his own
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent

Part of those small steps is learning the pitfalls. The spam, malicious emails, abuse on social media etc. Then recognise the uses that enhance your experience,eg reliable social media etc. I never seen the attraction of twitter (x), only trust searches that aren't sponsored etc. Two sides of coin
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
The claim was that the abuse by their father "forced" them on this path. But they seem to have not stopped at the father and killed the mother too. As to Kim Kardashian championing their cause? Not sure I would want a legal system that relied on a "celebrity" to decide who should be released.๐ค

I feel that her statement is missing some key words like"nudge, nudge, wink, wink). Being released to a more comfortable jail (and no doubt pardoned eventually) had no influence on her statement ๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
I wonder if they will plant false evidence to try and frame Bolton. They cannot be trusted as they are willing to manipulate data and the truth. What were reasonably respected government agencies has been turned into America's brown shirts. Republicans are pulling America into the gutter.๐

The problem is that he watched "Song of the south" and thinks that slavery was a happy time with lots of singing in the fields. Not helped by his administration being filled with white supremacists. Next he will be wondering why the USA doesn't just drop nuclear bombs down like the "good old days"๐

Washington was highlighted because a Doge employee was attacked. How do we know if that actually happened, given that Doge and the Trump administration have manipulated the truth before. It would not surprise me if it was planned to try and justify their actions.๐ค

I cringed when I heard the pathetic reporter ask the question about his outfit. As to Trump and "peace" prize. Everyone knows he is like Putin, just out to get a "piece" of anything going, no matter what or who it costs. And the oompa loompa's must be crying over his bad dancing๐

I don't mind if he names certain areas after him, as long as he uses it. On that note, I think there should be a campaign to have a cemetery named after him, as long as he takes immediate residence.๐ค But Trump is just the figurehead, the Republican party needs to take the blame, they enabled him๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Seemingly it was because a staffer got beat up. Sadly, it would not surprise me if the Trump administration had ICE mask up (normal day for them) and attack the staffer. Then they get outraged and say they are wanting to protect everyone, ironically from them. I am sure that was in Putin's playbook๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
It is the legal system, I dislike the term justice as often it has nothing to do with justice. It could be argued that it in fact has nothing to do with justice and everything to do with ensuring those with money can benefit the most๐

She was part of the Biden coverup, willing to try and deceive the public. Too many people doing the same thing over and over, all complicit in the political dirt that both parties shovel. We need new people, being honest, rather than established people continuing the insanity ๐

We may never see the evidence, covering up sin is well practiced in the so-called higher circles. Change is needed, too much of the same old tired faces lacking ideas and morality. Republicans have let US down, failing the nation. Democrats have allowed the same corruption. New blood is needed๐

Ukraine elected a comedian and benefited, so why not US. We already had an actor and a peanut farmer๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
It's not being afraid that is the issue, it is that he lacks any morality, so has no idea what the right thing is. Politics has become so disgusting that it is hard to see any good in it. The best thing is to sweep the current crop of politicians out of office, and get new blood in.๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
It isn't that the republicans are quiet that is concerning, but that democrats were not pressuring until it blew up in Trump's face. That speaks volumes that both parties bear the stain of Epstein. But politics has been stained for years, organisations buying political favour etc. Sickening ๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
I find it hilarious that Japan has 15% but American manufacturers have 25% because of Mexico and Canada supply chains. And if they drop the chains, their cars will cost even more. And who is going to buy American cars? I suspect that they will be shunned.๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Both sides, democratic and republican don't want the information released, as it would tear down the thin veneer that politics, and many institutions, use to shield themselves. Bad actors are everywhere๐. That is why I hope younger people, less corrupted join politics. The establishment is corrupt.

It is so they can maintain the open border, which was part of the Northern Ireland peace process and the good Friday agreement. The Windsor framework allowed for a slight revision.

Disgust is my feeling. I can understand him, as he has no moral compass but I cannot understand those who support him. He relies on utilising the one fear a supporter has and using that to draw them in, but surely the lies and cross purposes must be obvious. You can fool some people all the time๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
I think a big issue is the democratic party, they are still grasping hard to the old ways. Buying power through political influence. We need to look at the people and not the publicity they buy. It is rare to find someone who occasionally tells the truth in politics, regardless of which party๐

America has been lost for decades. It is popular to blame it on Trump etc, but that isn't so. He is merely the latest manifestation of what America has become. The corruption is rife throughout both parties, and through corporate America. The misconception that greed is good but greedier is better.๐

We need cuts to public spending, just not in this way. The rich and elite need to pay more, equally we need to address the welfare culture, at minimum making sure only those in need are receiving help. Address corruption in healthcare. Private profit from healthcare should be abolished.

Separating from UK would cause greater issues than EU separation. They are our biggest trading partner. There is also no guarantee the EU would accept Scotland, a lot of issues there. And it would make more sense if SNP concentrated on improving Scottish lives rather than anti English rhetoric.
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Hmm..whilst I agree leaving EU was stupid, arguing that we need to leave the UK falls into the same bracket, but worse. I've never had an issue being Scottish, UK, European etc. It is the small minded bigots that are keen for separation, and will be the first to cry when it causes them hardship ๐

The establishment will hopefully be kicked out, and let a newer generation have a chance. Too often the tired words of "experience" has been used to endorse a candidate, when that "experience" was in the way to get as much graft as possible. Doing the same thing is a sign of insanity, not hope.๐ค

Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Not convinced, though you may be right. Everyone seems to throw "weak" around as an insult, yet everyone is weak. We are born weak, we suffer from our weaknesses and we ultimately die from our weak bodies. It is what we choose to do that is my view of a flaw. Trump chooses to be a disgusting person๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Not sure weak is right word. Delusional megalomaniac . Though to be fair, he might be a narcissist, or both, is that possible ๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
I hope they succeed. I have noticed that I am "booing" in my head every time I see a Tesla passing by. No rationale except I dislike the brand since all the "stuff" has happened. Never liked Musk, but had nothing against Tesla before. Now I see it as the spawn of the devil. Sorry for owners but ๐

Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Who protects us from Microsoft's interests. If Trump tells them he wants a particular AI to flourish, will Microsoft say no? If Trump wants another to fail, will they say it isn't on "their" approved list? I am not even meaning Chinese led, it could be another EU country. They kissed ass before ๐

Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
It's not as if Microsoft would lie to customers, because there is an oversight of that. ๐ Wait, didn't Trump gut all oversight and place his lackeys in key positions?๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Neither, is that allowable? I don't swing that way, but regardless they are both odious people. I am also struggling to believe it is real. It would be a good way to deflect from other republican issues. But I am cautious when it comes to disgusting people ๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
I am suspicious. Good way to deflect news away from republican problems. This may be a way to make it look like they are distant, whilst ripping off the data that they have backdoors to now. The bill seemingly has provisions to stop any issues with AI rollout for 10 years by any state. Scary๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Sure.
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Thank you but no thank you. I don't personal message these days. As to younger leaders, not sure, but could it be any worse than now๐ค
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Hmm...yes, can be broken but that will take honesty from politicians and others. Democrats need to be honest, and listen. Eg immigration is a problem (as in all countries), so do something, don't pretend. I think we need younger blood in politics, the old has had their chances, and failed.๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Partly it is senate etc (government oversight), partly media (reporting facts), and then the public (re voting). I believe we get the government we deserve. Currently America has shitty government because we allowed it. Culture of political lies and dirty dealing and a public that let it happen.
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Nope. It is a tactic. Elon is hated, left the government (in theory) so states bill is bad. The government then hopes people will support the bill as everyone hates Elon. Elon and Trump are still billionaire buddies. Elon is still working with Trump etc and will use backdoor into gov systems ๐
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
Better to have oversight. Though not a fan of corruption (re FDA oxycontin) no oversight would just exacerbate the situation. Corrupt people will always cut corners everywhere (eg baby milk scandal in china).Trump doesn't want oversight as he wants to get away with everything eg recent stock trading
Colin (@colin25.bsky.social) reply parent
It is a false flag. No doubt agreed with Trump to try and help Elon with his Tesla issues. They are still linked, and no doubt Elon will use his backdoor into the government systems to help Trump rip off America ๐ค
