In another context I'd agree w/ you; there are horrifying people in my state and they have a lot of gerrymandering AND a lot of actual numbers on their side, and it's a real problem and gets much worse outside cities. But I think it's not a terrible reply to "your place is just bad" /NC all my life

It is one approach! It's not even a bad one, you get predictable results..! My wife's tendency is not to make the same thing twice*, which is... not my approach. "We should make that again, it was great!" "Well..." *except the sausage stuffing at thanksgiving, that is inviolable and mandatory!
