Yeah, I think the crux of the problem is the original is basically a perfectly crafted song. It's all build-build-build to that exact moment and then release. the additions mostly just serve to give us more reasons to hate jake gyllenhaal. But they throw off the dynamics of the song.

If you prefer the 10-minute version of "All Too Well", that's fine -- there's no accounting for taste. personally, I think it ruins just about everything I think is great about the original version.
the problem with the 10-minute version of "All Too Well" is it takes this incredibly propulsive, dynamic song and turns it into a freaking dirge. it's interesting as an exercise, but the original version is superior in basically every way.

Clevinger is 34, hasn’t been useful 2023, and had a 4.22 ERA at Triple-A, so of course the White Sox are using roster expansion to return him to MLB. Because the guy whose teammates revolted against him for breaking COVID protocols in 2020 is such a good locker room presence.

Might be a gigantic upgrade for the Braves just because he's a normal not-great player instead of the outright disaster they've gotten the past two seasons at shortstop. The Braves have gotten a 61 wRC+ from their shortstops the past two seasons combined.
