Multiplayer games are so cool, the whole idea of Wildgate, where you and 3 friends pilot a space ship and try to out-scavenge 4 other ships to steal an artifact, is pure magic, and the game delivers. But if a multiplayer game doesn't take off, it might disappear forever. What a rough reality
Blazblue pimped out its IP to so many bad tie ins that when this game turned out to be pretty good it went under the radar It also failed to grab the BB crowd cause the story is none of it is "real", it's all danger-room hologram stuff and the BB characters are part of that simulation

I'd take suggestions on alternatives. The pull of Evo for us was it's more of an event than a tournament. My boys don't play a lot of fighting games and I wanted an event that would put on a show worth the airfare. Support your locals, you're lucky if you have them. Maybe it's time to start one
Why would I cash in all my friends and family favor credit, not to mention my savings, to take a self-indulgent me-cation to an event now designed to put me in a state of moral conflict? How can I pretend it's not what's happening, when it's explicitly clear? I don't think it calls to me anymore.
Some people might think I'm overreacting, and to be honest I understand. I'm not even a hard liner on boycotting. But it was to be indulging my inner child, it was supposed to be sentimental and adventurous and kinda innocent. It was also gonna be expensive and hard to pull off.
I've been trying to get to Evo for 4 years, dreaming about it since I was a teenager. I made my big play last year for my 40th, but my budget didn't work out in spite of my friends and family pulling up. Today I'm mourning a dream that never quite came to life.

The pattern so far has been a redesign for costume 1 and classic outfits for costume 2, where applicable. They seem to prioritize a street fit then an evening wear fit for costumes, so far. So for her I'd guess a modern street outfit for costume 1, classic for 2, and an evening fit for 3.

They've made it much harder to get into backturn without a counterhit, RC or fishing around with unsafe pokes. Unfortunately Leo is good at that so he'll probably get nerfed again. If you want to stay safe, hit confirm 5K/2K > 2D. You also can usually get 6P AA into 214S but I don't see it much.
H Eisen only gives front turn oki on grounded hit and blocked bt.H basically neutral resets. If you want to mix a throw you should stancel somewhere in the lights or if you have terrible habits like me, use dunkel for the psychic damage. It's so slow no one ever uses it so it works every time.
For backturn vortex oki, 5K > 5P > 5S > 5H > 22 > 2S > 236H still works. (This is the same as Jyosua's season 2 vortex but replacing the 22 > 5K > 6K with 22 > 2S. As far as I know, all of his layers after that should still work, but it's all much tighter.) If I have time I'll make a clip.
New Leo game plan: dispense 5k > 6k > 236S until they block, switch to 5k > throw, if they start to tech the throw, shimmy into 2H. Then you fucking murder them for what they did you you. If you get blocked on a 5K you can mix up going into 214S, 236S or stagger pressure. 🧵 #GGST_LE #FGC

I think creation is worthwhile on its own, but even playing their own game I think they're making a mistake. You could make a business of finding great creators, taking care of them, and maybe scoping or editing them, if necessary. Instead they're cooking their golden geese.
It is my sincere belief that talent is a completely hidden variable to AAA video game capitalists, who think they're betting on combinations of Steam tags and timing the market, rather than blindly riding the waves of quality within their own teams due to constant turnover.
I definitely think they're putting it together really fast, I'm staning for the casting (mostly) for balance reasons, but who knows at this point. I'm hoping it hits a middle tone like D&D or something like that. I think it has a better shot than most people do.

The owner of that feed isn't moderating that kind of content, but for the FGC Pulse feed I moderate pretty actively. It's the same amount of work for me to do it myself or for the feed, so I just do it. My rule of thumb is anything more sexualized than the promotional material gets muted.

Check out the FGC Fresh feed below and see for yourself. I originally intended the Pulse feed to curate a sorted list and to suggest other prominent feeds for sorting by new, but I noticed some pretty significant bugs on those feeds that seem unlikely to be fixed. So let me know what you think!
The FGC Fresh feed is evolving away from just "Pulse sorted by new", and it's started getting awkward that it automatically included these accounts. Now the regex is strong enough it no longer needs the list as a crutch, it gets all relevant posts on its own. So we're moving on and up.
Training wheels are coming off today. The FGC Pulse feed started out just sorting posts from the list of FGC figures that were in the Starter Pack. I used those posts to build the regex thay combs all of bluesky. If a figure made a post it would've missed, I refined it so it was captured regardless.
