Holy SHIT. The energy of that performance was unbelievable. From the cast, the audience, even the band. One of the best theatergoing experiences of my life.
The cast is really delightful and they do madcap comedy like a Swiss clock. It's a great show to be up close for, too. Look at this energy!

Okay, that was worth the return trip, she's fucking hilarious (and has palpable chemistry with Jennifer Simard) Also, Ximone Rose was on in place of Michelle Williams and was fantastic. Not to be rude but even for a singing-heavy role there's a world of difference between a singer and an actor.
So this is our third time seeing DBH (yes, we're insane, what of it) and FINALLY we're going to see Megan Hilty rather than one of her understudies. (Not that the understudies have been bad!)
