I don't like the idea of term limits. It's not like we have a surplus of competent and honest people who are wanting to be politicians, so being forced to lose one when we find them is not great, and I don't see how having new people to take on the roles all the time is automatically beneficial.

I got there, but it wasn't very elegant. I must be missing a trick to it? I tried: let m = 2^r => 2^s = 2^(2-r) = 4/m (by r + s = 2) and 4^r = 2^(2r) = m^2 and 4^s = (2^s)^2 = (4/m)^2 so 2^r + 2^s = 6 => m + 4/m = 6 => m = 3 +/- sqrt(5) and I just plugged that into m^2 + (4/m)^2 = x
