Drew Allar and his QB coach have been in the lab. Josh Allen is a right-foot-forward shotgun guy, but the wide stance helps with quick game. Allar looked significantly better throwing to the boundaries this week. So excited to see what he does against the best competition this year.

No worries! It’s a strange rule to be honest. All QBs should play at least two full years before hitting the NFL just from “see it” perspective.
Well he couldn’t do that sadly haha have to be three years out of school to declare. But I think a full season of this will have him generally considered a better NFL prospect than Manning.
Well his game and Milton’s are nothing alike, and also nothing like Patrick Mahomes haha but this is probably the best freshman starting debut I’ve ever seen, regardless of team🤷🏼♂️

I generally agree, but there were some concerning mechanical things in there that led to the inaccurate stuff through the first three quarters. Not even jittery all the time, but rather so anti-jitter that I think he lost some velocity on a lot of throws because of his stationary feet.
3. He has easily the strongest arm in the last few classes. So much zip. Still, there’s a layered touch throw on the Nevada film that’s absolutely gorgeous. 4. This Penn State WR group is significantly better than last year. Could be the difference in big games. Good debut for QB1.
Quick thoughts on the Drew Allar game vs: Nevada: 1. He has complete command of the offense. He’s setting protections, throwing with anticipation, and his footwork is so much better. 2. He threw two balls inaccurately. One was just not being on the same page as his WR, the other was anticipatory.

Dani Dennis-Sutton (EDGE - Penn State) is a game-wrecker. Two forced fumbles — one with a punch, one with a strip — and multiple pocket collapses. Really happy to see he’s explosive and significantly improved.
Drew Allar’s mastery of the offense is allowing the Nittany Lions to play with more pace. That pace should make them extremely dangerous against the top teams. Really cool development.
