I was just at the grocery store in my building, and these two little girls (couldn't have been more than 6 or 7) were getting popsicles and juice, but missing $0.60 so I gave it to them-- and got the biggest hugs I've ever had. Money well spent! 💕

My blood pressure is back to normal after years of struggling, and several weeks of continuously changing medication and feeling like crap. It seems like a miracle.
I don't care if no one likes my posts or answers me here. That was never the point. Facebook on the other hand was just a competition for who has the most friends and likes. BLEH.
Bluesky doesn't have the same pressure. It's just somewhere I come to say dumb shit, look at pictures of bunnies, and send out love to randoms who could use it. This is a positive experience for me.
I deleted my Facebook account tonight. I feel free of a thing I felt I needed to use in order to be liked by others. I'd rather build actual connections with people, thank you very much.

I feel the same way you do. I often work on weekends just to have a reason to get up in the morning. My coworkers remind me daily that I matter, but I can't always believe them, I don't know how. The only thing I do know for sure: my brain is lying to me because depression. Yours probably is too. 🫂

I kinda lost track after Voyager, myself. None of the series after that really held any interest, especially the more recent ones. But this is really exciting! I'm so glad they went back to the "monster of the week" format, also. Feels more like a "normal" space opera to me.

For real, I think Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is the best Trek series of all. (Although you kinda have to have seen the others to get all the inside jokes that make it so, so good.)
