Speaking of, the Retired Working Dogs page just came across my eyes and there’s a farm dog Jazz who has “lost her bark” and is great with kids and other dogs. 🥹
It’s just unbelievable how he gets away with this micromanaging overreach every single time. I suppose staff don’t feel secure enough in their jobs to whistleblow or go to the media. Of course, not that media is showing much interest in holding him to account. It’s SO EGREGIOUS. Aaaarrrrghhgghh.
And I’ve agreed to donate my drum kit to the band’s flat for next year. Now that my shoulders are wrecked it may as well go somewhere that it’ll get a lot of use! PS Apologies in advance to their neighbours…. but they *are* a good band, so actually, you’re welcome! lol

Did this trip for the 3rd time today and I love it so much. It feels like a bit of faff to load/unload my wheelchair to go for a short stroll, but it’s also nothing compared to the headache of driving downtown and looking for parking. I love my mobility options!

He's also always wrong about how many people would have died. He was wrong during Covid, he's wrong now. I can remember when in Aug 2020 he said we should open up because Sweden (2x our pop) had "only" had 6000 deaths and was through the worst of it. Sweden went on to suffer another 18,000 deaths.

The reality is there are MANY things schools could do to protect students and staff but they don’t want to. And not enough parents and teachers are demanding it.
It’s been v effective for schools to keep the focus on “teacher shortages” rather than “schools’ failure to take all practicable steps to prevent & limit illness spread”. One successful lawsuit against a Principal (as PCBU) taken on behalf of a teacher or student w long covid would do it.
The last time I flew into Vancouver I was hurrying home to see my Dad, who was near the end of his life. A delay meant I was likely to miss my domestic connection across Canada, and the wonderful airport staff cleared the way like Moses so I could skip some lines. 🥹

You are not being paranoid. We are lucky that our teen’s heart issues and POTS from covid infection(s) are at the milder end of the scale. The experiences of many parents in the Long Covid Kids support groups are horrendous and on whole other level. You are not being paranoid.
