Thank you - that helped too. In Japan they have forest bathing (you prolly know I’m sure) - where you deliberately walk in a quiet green area and contemplate. I do this a lot, and can feel the almost instant serenity it brings. And the serenity lasts.

It is just wild to me that the largest facility used during Japanese internment will now be used to intern immigrants from ICE raids, people who are disappeared by masked officers off the streets, and there is still a debate about whether naming and shaming those doing it is fair.

That is quite true. I’m an atheist, so fairies and jebus are about the same to me. However, the ancient woodland religions were destroyed to make way for jebus. It is sad to have lost all knowledge of most of them. I lived in an area with a henge - it was once very much a place of worship.

Exactly! I likened brain experiments to shoving a telephone pole in to a bowl of peas hoping to touch a specific pea, while mangling others. We really don’t understand the brain well. Its combination of electrical and chemical makes it hard enough, never mind micro or femto doses of hormones etc. 😬
