Thanks! Thought I deleted all those. Yep, it was hacked through an old Blue Sky security issue. Funny enough the hacker actually helped me (and in turn bsky) patch up that issue. A rare good ending to a scary day haha.

There are a few things only the distilled art of a single person can offer. Art made collaboratively and by bigger groups is also beautiful of course, but there's something about experiencing a story you know comes from a single person's mind. It's like communicating with them directly :)
And this is coming from a professional cartoon maker! I love this medium but I often find its finished products to be a far cry from any of my favorite books.
I mean this in the most earnest way possible. If your points of reference for storytelling all come from cartoons I BEG you to read more books. There’s so much more variety out there, so much that hasn’t been distilled through 80 different hands & a single corporation’s S+P department.
Sure, but also it is literally impossible to control how people interpret stories. PRESCHOOL shows are argued about! So, lesson is just write and create what feels cool to you bc at the end of the day this is your art and their responses are just like, their opinions, man.
