Labor Day message: right now I have WGA health insurance because of screenwriting work - and it’s incredible. But it also drives home what a disaster it is that book writers have no insurance and are totally adrift in America’s healthcare nightmare.
Of all the VHS horrors that haunted my dreams as a kid this one unnerved me the most. Finally watched it a few years ago and guess what? ZERO INSIDE-OUT MEN.

I just finished WHALEFALL by @danielkraus.com (finally) after reading his masterpiece ANGEL DOWN. I didn't expect to cry. I didn't expect to call my dad. I didn't expect this cannonball of a story. This one will stick with me.

Sometimes long sentences can be best sellers. Currently, reading Angel Down by Daniel Kraus. I was apprehensive about a book that was a single sentence for 285 pages. But they got creative and it works.
