Taylor did the inflammatory framing, it's malpractice respond to something other than the intent with which Taylor aimed the journalistic ire.
I'd argue that Taylor created the narrative - although I have high regard for their reporting and track record, this was a piece that was all about partisanship and tactical shifts. Even so, the contractual information was incorrect even if your point about the central argument about dark $ stands.
I think it was addressed -calling it a "circular firing squad" & it's basic political malpractice to not engage. Point taken about dark money, but I think the piece misses what should be the point: there's finally a willingness to engage on equal terms, no matter how repugnant funding realties are
