I can concentrate on text better, and get back on track more easily if I’m distracted. It’s much easier to get back on track if I miss something or need to look something up (who is this person? what did they do? are they an actor or musician? is this a meme I’m not familiar with?).
Last Saturday was one of those can’t-drag-myself-out-of-house days. Turns out we can get our favorite Thai food via uber eats, and that contributed to us having the energy to leave the house later. (Yes, everyone else in the world figured this out centuries ago - it was new to us!)
Leaving the house is overrated.

Why does does so much news and commentary come in video form only? I can read the equivalent of a 2 hour video in 45 minutes tops. Watching video makes me feel like my brain is buffering, and a lot of the time I don’t retain much. Give me transcripts!
