Yeah I can look back at it now and agree with what the poster is saying, but that was 100% my experience growing up (in PA).
They should bring back Brosnan for a final film a la Logan. 'Old Man Bond'. Send his tenure off on a great note, make a ton of $$$, and then it's a soft reboot for the next actor given the unprecedented way that No Time to Die ended.

If you find (and I've been looking for this for ages) a section of technical drawings of the CCA mobilesuits. I found one of the Sazabi that showed that the 'G-clef' symbol on the 'hip' was a stylized C-D for Cassoval Daikun. And I have never been able to find it again.

No, you nailed it. He was the pre-Craig, but they weren't sure how to write that. And I've always felt that the era didn't help. Bond was a promiscuous Cold War spy in the age of AIDS and Perestroika. He seemed like they didn't know how to update him to the times.

It's funny, I was down in the basement and I saw the set of Star Trek figures that I bought at a con this year. And I realized that was the seed for the whole idea. I thought it'd be funny to take pictures of the figures and do dialog balloons-and that morphed into using screenshots.

Could you imagine Dragon's Lair redone as a Soulslike game today? The graphics could just about compete with the animated original (honestly if they went for a cel shaded look they could probably match it). FromSoftware should get on that! That would be amazing!

When the Billy Joel doc came out, they showed an old promo of him talking about the upcoming album 'The Stranger'. I looked at the track listing: 6 of the 8 songs are on the Greatest Hits albums. That's 75%! (And the one that's not on there is Vienna, which people love.) That's an amazing album.
