And far too often we still think physics is just quantum mechanics and cosmology - far away mysterious things that don't relate to our everyday life. That's nonsense. Why it is tiring to walk slowly, what limits the height of a tree, why do baby ducks swim in a tight line? Physics will tell you!

There is a way. Set up a camera to record the sky all night, then watch the recording at your leisure during daytime.

#Saturn in 2025 and over the last 5 yearsππ½ I imaged Saturn two nights back & have been imaging since 2020. Notice how the rings have gone from nearly face-on to edge-on? This is a 13 to 15 year cycle and is due to Saturn's ring tilt of 27deg to Earth's orbital plane. Saturn just had Equinox in May!

For early risers from tomorrow Venus appears very close to the Beehive Cluster. Look northeast with binoculars before dawn. Best when the sky is fairly dark. Venus is very bright and easy to spot from around 3.30am. π π§ͺ
