I find myself consistently impressed whenever I hear about Norwegian politics. So many western countries are so messed up it's nice to see something good every once in a while. Of course this could have come sooner, but I'll take what I can get.
it's so frustrating too, because that mindset always boils down to the same smug liberal scolding that goes nowhere. Always blaming the people for being too stupid to like their failing candidate. We can't expect anything from our politicians apparently.
Let me get this straight, you are mad because people decided to not support a candidate over Gaza. You mean to tell me that falling in line and voting for that candidate anyway isn't being a "passive rider". Voters should do research, of course, but politicians also need to earn the people's vote.
Why would you place the blame on the voters, when it was the Harris campaign who refused to distance themselves from Biden on that issue? "We are bad but Trump might be worse, so vote for us" is not a good selling point when we are talking about support for genocide.
She came in to replace an incredibly unpopular incumbent, and then said in an interview that she wouldn't have done anything differently lmao. Yeah she had a better approval than Biden, but it's laughable to pretend that's a high bar. Running her as a candidate again would be complete suicide.

It's normal to get sentimental lol, I have a ton of great memories from osu that I think I will stay with me for a long time. Hand pain is rough but there might be other rhythm games that would be less problematic and give you a similar experience

If they failed to recognize "cognitive dissonance", they failed to campaign, it doesn't matter how correct you are if you don't get elected.
The Democrats were not "let down" in November. They failed to run a successful campaign and are now faced with the results of that. If they fail to adequately counter the current administration, that's even more of a reason to get new leadership.
