Cloture vote for the CR just reached the 60 vote threshold, which means the CR will almost certainly pass. The Dems capitulated. @schumer.senate.gov and others in the current Dem leadership should be removed and replaced with @aoc.bsky.social and @chrismurphyct.bsky.social, immediately.

Schumer’s decision is an unconscionable surrender that shows he does not have what it takes to meet this moment, and the charade he pulled yesterday makes it even worse. Time for new leadership in the Democratic Party.
I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable. Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes. Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.
