The Diorama Museum down the street keeps adding dioramas.

A small structure similar to a Little Free Library, with a sign reading DIORAMA MUSEUM. Little doors on the structure open to reveal dioramas. Next to it is another structure containing more dioramas. There's also a birdhouse converted into a hanging diorama.

Right, I think Politico is being disingenuous, & the excerpts I've seen, strikingly frank as they are, do not come across as a full-throated attack on Biden, & obviously it's unlikely the book is all about her relationship with Biden & his staff (but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a running thread)

People didn't cast their vote for Biden under the assumption he'd be fighting against resurgent Trumpism. Many (myself, alas, included) naively thought Trump would be a spent force once he lost an election

Yeah, I recall reporting to that effect not long after he was chosen: Shapiro wanted a guarantee he'd have some kind of meaningful influence, whereas Walz was humble & made it clear he didn't expecting to be her successor
