I feel safer here than when I'm outside the city: lots of ppl = less chance to be robbed etc. vs less crowded places, drivers are less dangerous than in the burbs, not driving makes me safer (compare traffic deaths to murders on trains), my high rise doesn't have windows a burglar can climb into.

I’ve said this before: We need some serious punitive case law creating civil liability for AI. Sec 230 protections do not apply to cases like that, and someone needs to win a massive judgment against Meta and xAI to make this point. The companies won’t stop until they know they’re vulnerable.
