You can block me, but the only person you can blame are the people that VOTED FOR TRUMP. Blaming people that have values that align with you but didn’t want to support anyone that backs Israel is counter productive and simpleminded. A good way to lose the future fights for human rights.
Side note, I also believe it’s the lighting. That white light they’re using is incredibly unnatural and is a Millennial grey type of design choice. The warm lighting used in these American churches mimics the light of a candle, and is more representative of the type of lighting they would have had.
2/2 I hope this helps you see what I mean, the color in these American churches makes it feel more alive and warm, rather than that cold grey that the new Notre Dame displays.
When I look at that grey it looks sterile to me, like a hospital lol. In America, churches usually use neutral colors to aid in contemplative prayer, accented with the aforementioned natural colors and stained glass, but with the last example, Grace Cathedral I can see what you mean about the soot.
Wrong churches don’t have a standard look, at least not in America, but grey and white are certainly not typical colors for a church. Stained glass windows and mahogany colored wood are typical tho.
