The Supreme Court keeps yelling at the district courts for not understanding that the new rule is to decide in favor of the Trump administration and their allies in every case regardless of the facts or the substance of the law.
District and appellate courts, I think fairly, keep asking the Supreme Court to clarify what they actually mean—i.e. "If the new rule is that the Trump admin can never lose then you have to say that" and the Supreme Court keeps being like "No, you're supposed to just do it without us having to say."
