I don't mind the talking - I can sit and let it wash over me. What I need is a group that has someone in charge to actively make it a safe place. So far I've left a quilting guild and a knitting circle due to hateful speech. I don't push my beliefs on you , don't push yours on me. We're knitting.

Did you put it in "a safe spot"? Those words open a portal to another dimension and you'll never see the object again.

I can't remember what the first one was, the second is a pair of mallards at Crystal Lake.

Tail end of unidentified diving bird. The back is black, the belly white, and the legs orange. His head is fully submerged. Tail ends of a mallard drake and a hen. Their heads and chests are fully submerged. There are circular ripples on the water from their plunges.

Pinwheel. I have this one hosta that didn't read the information on the little tag. Forgot to stop getting bigger. #photography #plant

Close up of the center of a hosta, showing the leaves in a pinwheel formation. The leaves are big and green, with yellow accents on the edges.

The sign reads Jefferson Davis Memorial Park. It's gone now, but for years it stood at Fort Monroe, where Davis was imprisoned after the war. #photography

Muscovy Duck and Ducklings, swimming off into the sunset. Those aren't necessarily all Muscovy ducklings, they were sharing the pond with a large brood of Mallard ducklings and I saw the ducklings change which mother they were following. #photography #bird

Muscovy duck, followed by 8 ducklings, (5 yellow and 3 dark brown). There are leaves reflected on the surface of the pond.
