My grandkids are the age of some of these kids-littles that have no reason to have been taken out of protective custody to be returned to a country consumed by violence with little to no chance of having relatives ready to take custody. Trump and Stephen Miller are obscenely evil men.
They loaded up those planes with children - some as young as 10. I don’t believe they had a safe place to go in Guatemala. And the government did not care. This admin is the least compassionate of any in my lifetime.

As a "lefty-progressive" Christian from an old school denomination (the Episcopal church), I could not agree more. It has often bothered me how consistently the press will cover conservative evangelicalism ad nauseam and ignore what mainline denominations are doing and saying.

Yellow-billed magpies are a very treasured bird in Sacramento, CA. Their numbers were decimated 10-15 years ago by West Nile virus. They are very smart--corvids like crows and ravens (hence their behavior you describe)--but they are an important part of of our eco-system in the Central Valley.
