I storyboarded a fan anime opening for my favorite childhood game, megaman legends /ロックマンDASH I wanted to animate the whole thing, but that’s way too much effort. Did it in a way where I can fulfill that childhood dream and move on. Maybe one day I'll form a MAP project out of this!
They must have data that steers them towards the OG over the other seasons (lightning collection numbers?) - though if you always start a new wave with MMPR their numbers will always be biased

Love this and it's a good look for TokuJay, love his stuff - seeing comments elsewhere cements what I already knew about the fandom from comments I get on my work, entitled babies. The fanbase can be nuts and I've worked on Star Wars!

Quick Process breakdown: Environment modelled in Blender - rough animation in toon squid - used that rough as reference in Blender to animate the helmet (which took like 20mins) - clean up and colour back in toon squid - comped in Davinci Resolve
Tested my pipeline with the scene that has a little bit of everything - took about 8 hours total to animate and composite. 4 of those hours were me figuring out Davinci Resolve 😩😅 #animation #powerrangers #mightymorphinpowerrangers #pinkranger #blender3d

Looking good - I'd try looking at colour. Think about what the overall tone of the scene is - colour can help portray it. Bam animation has a good video on Environment design and colour theory. Keep pushing 💪🏾
