I went to see “The Roses” this evening. It’s an updated retelling of “The War of the Roses.” Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch were brilliant. I liked it better than the original. Go see it!

I have MAGA family and acquaintances who watch Fox News and corporate news only, if they watch anything. They haven’t a clue. But, they are so MAGA that I don’t think cutting their Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid will bother them. It’s beyond my comprehension. This is so freaking scary.
This is truer than true. I’ve come to realize this as I am navigating through a difficult journey with my Dad. Doing it alone sucks, and it’s also lonely and isolating.

I remember dancing like this and wearing these types of dresses. How joyful is this music video? I was 11 or 12 when this song was released. It evokes memories of summer days, lying on a towel my backyard, giggling with my friends, listening my transistor radio to the AM hits of the day.
At 68 years of age, I’ve come to the conclusion that just when we think we have it figured out, everything changes. Perhaps this prevents us from becoming complacent. I mean, if David Byrne doesn’t have it figured out, I surely never will.
