I hope that they don't mess him up again when he appears in the Marvel Universe films. Can't remember much about the 2015 Fantastic Four film, but in the noughties ones, they turned him into a sub-par Magneto.
Plugging a few gaps in my John Pertwee and Tom Baker DVD collections. Yeah I know that they are all on BBC I player, but I'm nerdy about #1970s #DoctorWho and like to watch all the special features. The Sea Devils is one of the first Doctor Who stories I ever saw as a young child.
Couple of more cheap #PS4 games for a bit of variety. Star Wars and Fallout £3 each and the football game was just 50 pence. Star Wars, well because its Star Wars, Fallout I enjoyed the TV show and the #TTRPG & Fifa just in case I am ever bored enough to want to play a football game

A visit to Trade and Play and CEX at lunchtime for what I consider to be the new console starter kit. Battlefield and Call of Duty for some quality shooting action, Mortal Kombat is my favourite, beat them up, and I always buy a copy of DOOM for any console that I own.

Nearly 12 years after its launch date, I have finally treated myself to a #PS4. £70 from Facebook Marketplace with four games and one controller. Pinball game is probably the only one of these I would have seeked out and bought myself, though Sherlock Holmes looks interesting.
Another title for my #Nintendo #Wii collection. A movie tie-in. A movie tie-in of a mediocre film. What could possibly go wrong? Just £1 from the Red Cross charity shop.
Travel to and from work album of the day today has been Different Class by Pulp. My love for this album newly cemented following their blistering Glastonbury performance a week or so back.
Back in the late 1970s, I used to go to a local youth club, and they would often give us an American comicbook each as we were leaving. I remember being completely fascinated by the covers of Plop. Wish I had kept them. Crazy stuff and often mildly disturbing.

I mean, I suppose I was always going to dislike him because he had the temerity to replace Tom Baker. Like Colin Baker, I always disliked his costume. The feckless crickter look. Couple of good ideas in Castrovalva, but stretched out too thinly over four episodes and generally poorly executed.
Continuing my watch of my #DoctorWho DVD collection, from my least favourite Doctors to favourite. Only 2 Colin Baker stories survived, his Dalek and Cyberman stories. Will Peter Davidson fair any better? A good enough actor, but completely wrong for the role. Much too young at the time.

Just scored myself a copy of the #FantasticFour Hickman omnibus locally from Facebook Marketplace at a really good price. Very pleased.
Charity shop lunchtime jaunt. Nothing special, but pleased with these nethertheless. Having a quick pint now while housewives play bingo around me. Strange pub, but there are a couple of wee dogs to fuss.
This just in from Amnity Island. It's the fourth of July, the beaches are open and everyone is having a wonderful time.
I wouldn't say it's an all-time, but yes, it's a vast improvement great over the first two CB stories I watched today.
Thing is, its not entirely Colin Bakers fault. He has always been a staunch champion of the show. Shit costume, terrible scripts and a producer more interested in pantomime.
A couple of these I have seen before, but most are new to me. After Tom Baker left Doctor Who and I fell out and I missed a lot of the 1980s output. Or did I? On the evidence today I have missed nothing, these are bloody awful.
Working my way through my Doctor Who DVD collection. Starting with the ones I am likely to like least. That means Colin Baker. Today have sat through Twin Dilemma, Timelash & now the 1st part of Trial of a Time Lord. Nothing I have seen has changed my mind that Colin was the worst #DoctorWho ever.

That's a funny cover. I used to read and collect Marvel's original ##StarWars run back in the 80s and Jaxx. I think he was called featured in issue number 7. The first issue where Marvel wrote original SW stories.
There used to be a TV show back in the teenies called The A Word. It was about a family raising an Autistic child. The kid used to go on long walks in the Lake District listening to a kick ass 90s mix tape on his headphones. Which is where I discovered this absolute BANGER.

My fond memories of 1970s Ghost Rider #comics are slowly being dispelled during my holiday reading. The early stories all consist of his girlfriend being kidnapped and / or threatened with human sacrifice to Santa, sorry Satan. #MarvelComics Think the 90s version arguably cooler.
A stone cold classic! I remember reading this as a child and just loving it. In the early 00's I bid on and won an entire run of Marvel Two in One. The Thing is my favourite Marvel character.
The glass books of the Dream Eaters. G.W. Dahlquist. This was an at times torturous read, with incredibly long chapters. I'm glad I stuck with it, but I'm not in a rush to read anything else by the same author.
