Would someone smarter than me explain what the impact would be if we the citizens of democratic states diverted our federal taxes to our state taxes? It's possible to change our withholding amounts to exempt on federal and then add that amount to our state withholding.

Supporting students to critically evaluate AI-generated content is a starting point. Encouraging critical thinking & exploration into the societal impacts of AI is crucial. Courageous leadership & discourse is paramount. The just say no approach disappeared when Pandora's box was opened.

Serious answer: AI is prevalent in our society and instruction is necessary with an "ethics first approach" that promotes critical thinking. Foundational understanding of algorithms is necessary. Human intelligence, knowledge and understanding is the only counter to the artificial.
