Nelvana, one of Canada’s most biggest animation studios has reportedly shut down after 54 years. (1974-2025). Workers are saying the studio has closed down its doors last Friday.
Shout Factory put the first POLICE STORY on their YouTube (subbed and 1080p!), so now you have no excuse. Watch it!
Though of course Matt Farley existed before Odenkirk came to SNL. And I guess KITH counts too, though Lorne at least gets some credit on that one.
It's funny when folks like Bob Odenkirk and Tim Robinson leave SNL and create sketch shows funnier than SNL has ever been ever.

My favorite thing about the AIRPORT movies is charting George Kennedy's character Joe Patroni's career path from elite engineer to airline CEO to, eventually, washed-up divorcee co-pilot.
It's like one of those movies where you think the monster is dead but he isn't.

Maybe Black Christmas? My memory is that Olivia Hussey is just part of the ensemble, and is neither such a huge star that she sticks out nor does the film spend an inordinate amount of time on her character to make it obvious she's the focus. Could be wrong on that, though, it's been a minute.

There's a bit of a Lifetime Movies hole people fall into as well, and Vivica certainly cranks out her share of those. But they really tend to be ex-sitcom stars and the like, not usually someone who had time as a movie star.
I'd watch a doc solely about once famous actors who have been banished to the ultra low budget sphere. Your Vivica A Fox, Eric Roberts, Vernon Wells, Michael Pare (and until their deaths, Michael Madsen and Tom Sizemore). It's a really odd place where you're ostensibly the "star" of dozens of movies

THE RAINBOW THIEF is a more pleasant viewing experience, though still also clearly compromised. Still, just to see Jodorowsky working with Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif is almost worth the price of admission. Here's our THE RAINBOW THIEF episode:
