I’ve lived in Poland for a while. I’ve noticed some nationalist behaviour and a bit of xenophobia towards citizens of other countries. The same thing a felt in russia when I loved there some years ago. Maybe it’s a kind of USSR mindset?

We are not all the same. In any war. there are those who stay, those o who flee because they have children/elders to protect and those who are just cowards. But I don’t judge because…because I never had bombs landing on my head. What I know is I will support Ukraine and Ukrainian people forever.
Probably you are right. At the same time Poland is the country with the highest number of refugees which puts pressure on social services. A rebalance between EU countries should be evaluated. PS: Portugal is an excellent option for Ukrainians. They will be warmly received.
I’m found this map. Support of Slovakia population above 70% and Hungary still above 60%. The worst one is in fact Czech Republic above 50%. Note: People’s support, not leadership.
