We asked Andrew Cuomo whether he would commit to supporting reparations and making equality real for Black New Yorkers. He refused to do so as Governor and refused to give us a clear answer now unlike @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social who has already signed our pledge to back repair.

We called on voters to fill out all five slots and to rank the DREAM slate. With the data all in, we now know that voters listened. United in both our collective desire to build a better New York, and prevent a disgraced, scandal-ridden creep from ruining our city.
Out of a record-breaking 1,016,398 primary voters, 526,472 New Yorkers left Cuomo off their ballots. That means 54% of the electorate heard our message and followed suit. But it gets even worse for Cuomo: 376,418 voters, or more than 70% of those who filled out all five slots, left Cuomo off.
The final Democratic primary results are in, and it's official: DREAM beat Cuomo. The ultimate guerilla hating campaign turned electoral strategy led to over half of Democratic primary voters leaving Cuomo off their ballots. Let's dive in 🧵
