“….you will be prosecuted.” But they weren’t prosecuted. Prosecuted would be having a day in court. Prosecuted would require the government to prove gang membership. Prosecuted would mean the chance to mount a defense. They weren’t prosecuted. They were kidnapped, trafficked, and enslaved.
